What is a subscription?

A subscription service is a business model in which customers pay a regular fee, usually monthly or annually, to have continuous access to certain products or services. This recurring fee allows subscribers to enjoy the benefits of the service continuously while the subscription is active.

The main characteristic of this model is the recurring payment, in exchange for continuous benefits or constant access to the services offered. Customers can cancel the subscription at any time, providing flexibility.

How does it work?

1. The customer chooses the service or product;

2. A registration for the service will be done, where the customer will provide payment information. This payment will be made recurrently: monthly, quarterly, or annually (depending on the product configuration).

3. After payment, the customer has continuous access to the service while the subscription is active.

4. At the end of the subscription period, the payment is automatically renewed unless the customer requested cancellation of the subscription.

Why couldn't I register a subscription?

On 01/02/2024, we paused subscription services, but we resumed this option on 16/04. If you, as a producer, want to activate this billing for your product, the option is already available on your dashboard.
