To generate a discount coupon, follow these steps:

1. Access the "Products" section in the main menu of your Octuspay account.
2. Select the specific product for which you want to create the coupon. This will open the configuration page for this product.
3. Within the product configuration page, find the "Discount Coupons" option and click on it.

After accessing the discount coupons section of the selected product, you will need to define some important information:

Coupon Name (for internal use): Choose a name that is easy to identify internally, this will help organize your coupons and track their performance.

Coupon Code (to be filled by the customer): This is the code that customers will use to apply the discount during checkout. Make sure it is a code that is easy to remember and easy to enter.

Discount Type: You can choose between offering a percentage discount or a fixed value discount. Choose the type that best fits your pricing and promotion strategy.

Discount Value: Set the value or percentage of discount that will be applied when the customer uses the coupon during purchase. Make sure to set an attractive discount to encourage sales.

After configuring the basic coupon information, you will need to link it to a specific offer by selecting it in the "Offer" section. This will ensure that the coupon is applicable only to products or services associated with that offer.

Additionally, you have the option to set a usage limit for the coupon, determining how many times it can be used in total. If desired, you can also set an expiration date for the coupon, specifying until when it will be available for use by customers.

Adding a coupon directly through the URL

It is important to verify that the discount coupon is properly registered for the specific offer where you want it to be applicable. Make sure the coupon is correctly associated with the corresponding offer to ensure that customers can use it as expected.

In the product URL, you need to add the coupon parameter as follows:

?offDiscount=CouponName

After adding this parameter, the product will automatically open with the coupon discount applied.
